Festivals Of Shikoku
Inspired by the various festivals that take place on the island of Shikoku, I designed an illustrative pamphlet and accompanying poster celebrating the festivals of Shikoku. Starting with hand sketches taken from my own references, I then digitally drew using procreate on my iPad and then assembled and formatted the design on InDesign ready for print. For the poster I used Photoshop to refine and add finishing touches.

Illustrated Festival Posters
Continuing on with the Festivals Of Shikoku, I created an illustrated poster following the pamphlet and a separate poster celebrating the Awa Odori dance festival. Hand drawn illustrations from my sketchbook were then scanned and redrawn digitally. Finishing with composing the final poster in Photoshop.

New Year Cards
Inspired by the New Year cards that are sent in Japan, I created a design for 2023 using Illustrator and Photoshop. Prepared the cards for print and then using a letter press, I hand finished each card with gold embossing type and glitter.

Winter in Shirakawago Magazine
Designed a travel magazine about Shirakawago in winter. Using photography I took on a trip to Gifu, edited in Lightroom. Vectors created in Illustrator and hand drawn elements made with Procreate. Then used InDesign to finalise the layout and construct all the assets together.

Yosakoi Event Poster
Created an event poster for the Yosakoi festival in Kochi Prefecture. Using the photography I shot at the event, edited in Lightroom and then used InDesign to edit and construct the poster.
Kamakura Guide Map
Designed an illustrated guide map as a brochure spread, of Kamakura city in Autumn. Highlighting the best sightseeing places to visit. Hand drawn illustrations created in Procreate, assets then composed in InDesign and Photoshop.

Chai Design
Initially, I created a chai-themed illustrated poster as a personal project using Procreate and Photoshop. My work caught the attention of ‘The Punjabi Art Collective,’ who commissioned me to design a poster for an event in Tokyo, incorporating the original illustration with added typography to suit the occasion. Following the event, I expanded the concept into chai packaging design.
