ABOUT ME
Hello!
Sabrina Anjali is a second generation British-Indian illustrator based in Tokyo, Japan. Having grown up in England, Sabrina draws inspiration from the unique blend of cultures and experiences that have shaped her practice. Drawing from her Indian heritage, she fuses elements of traditional and contemporary art to create visually rich illustrations.
She enjoys exploring themes of festivals, identity, multiculturalism, and the beauty of embracing diversity. She is passionate about celebrating different cultures and especially the Punjabi diaspora. Living in Japan has also provided Sabrina with a fresh perspective, as she incorporates elements from the rich and vibrant culture into her work.
She has recently graduated with an honour’s degree in England, where she studied illustration and visual media. Sabrina is now working on several illustration projects in Japan that include her travels and the celebration of identity.
